There is an penalty for unexcused absences of 1 point per run missed unless the absence is conveyed to a leader or posted on the forum. Please see the rules for specific details on attendance waivers.
The point bank cap is 45 points.
There is no punctuality bonus.
Bid Caps (Briefly):

If you believe the sheet to be in error, please let me know.

Re: Current Points
Those are points received on a given run. The spreadsheet is designed to work with the rules set and the two associated sheets (see the tabs at the bottom). If your name appears in the "Attendance List" for a given day, the value on the front sheet will show "1" indicating that you earned a point for that run. If your name is not on the attendance list, but is shown in the "Attendance Waiver" sheet, then you receive 0 points for the run. If your name is not on either list, you receive -1 points (or lose a point) for an unexcused absence. Currently there is no attendance penalty, so everyone receives a waiver until the rules are approved at which time all absences must be covered by a waiver.
These point "ticks" are useful when you are trying to determine if a problem occurred when taking attendance. If you look through the "daily point" list and see that you got a -1, but you know that you were present at the run, then there's probably an error (usually because your name was misspelled in the attendance list), and you can tell us exactly where the error occurs.
The intention of this particular spreadsheet is to accurately record attendance over a long period of time and to eliminate the possibility of people saying "I should have 20 points, not 18..." without any evidence. Because every run is recorded in perpetuity, it allows a participant to say "I was at such-and-such run and should have gotten a point" rather than to simply claim to have been "gypped" on points and get pissed off for no reason (no offense to any Gypsies who may be associated with the shell).
If there is an error on the sheet, you should bring it to our attention immediately. I think I'll try to make sure that attendance is up on the site either before the run ends (which might be tough), or within 10 minutes of the end of the run.
